Nigerian actor Hanks Anuku has recounted how his love for God influenced his decision to study theology and become involved in Christian ministry.
The veteran entertainer shared the details during an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, where he revealed that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, ordained him as a pastor when he was younger.
Anuku explained that he studied theology at Redemption Camp while residing in Lagos, describing his involvement in ministry as part of a spiritual journey he believed God had directed him to follow.
The actor said many people do not know about his pastoral background, although he continues to identify himself as a pastor.
He further disclosed that his ordination took place while his wife was still alive.
Anuku also challenged those who might question his claim to contact Adeboye for confirmation, insisting that the respected cleric could verify his account.
