Nollywood industry executive Seun Oloketuyi has paid tribute to gospel singer Toluwanisings, recounting how the musician allegedly slumped and was taken to several hospitals before his death.
Oloketuyi, who heads Best of Nollywood (BON), shared the account on Instagram, describing the singer’s reported final moments as deeply painful.
According to him, Toluwanisings collapsed on a staircase and was rushed to a hospital, but the facility reportedly refused to admit him. A second hospital allegedly turned him away before a third medical centre received him and pronounced him dead.
The BON CEO expressed sorrow over the loss of the gospel musician, questioning why such a tragedy had occurred.
“This is too painful to believe. A gospel musician whose voice once blessed souls, gone just like that?” he wrote.
He added that although the singer’s voice was no longer heard in person, his music would continue to resonate with listeners.

The singer’s family later confirmed his demise through a statement shared on his Instagram page after confusion trailed the initial reports.
Toluwanisings was known for his gospel music, which earned him listeners within Nigeria’s Christian music community.
Oloketuyi’s account has brought renewed attention to the reported events preceding the singer’s death. However, additional details about the collapse, the hospitals involved and the medical circumstances have not been disclosed in the information available.
The singer’s passing has prompted emotional tributes from people mourning the loss of a gospel artiste whose music touched lives.
