Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has debunked rumors making the rounds that she has reunited with her ex-husband, Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia aka 2Face or 2Baba.
Former couple enjoyed themselves together at a nightclub in an old video that reappeared on social media and was widely circulated. The clip, which many users wrongly believed was recent, fueled claims that Annie and 2Baba had rekindled their relationship.
Some social media users went as far as to claim the pair were expecting a third child together, despite them publicly ending their marriage earlier this year.
To set the record straight, Annie took to her Instagram Story to respond to the growing speculation. She explained that the videos circulating on the internet were old and she condemned the spread of false information about her personal life.
“Old videos everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote, dismissing the reports without elaboration.
Annie and 2Baba who have two daughters together announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together. Their separation attracted widespread public attention, ending one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity unions.

After the divorce, 2Baba moved on and married Edo State politician Natasha Osaworu, ending any hope of a reunion with his ex-wife.
Annie, meanwhile, recently found herself in the middle of another social media discussion after she was criticised for a comment she posted on an announcement celebrating the birth of a child to celebrity fashion designer Luminee and actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.
The actress has continued to keep a low profile in spite of the criticism and the recurring online speculation about her personal life, choosing to address only misinformation that she thinks is necessary. Reports of a reunion with 2Baba, as well as claims that they are expecting another child together, are completely false, her latest statement makes it clear.
