Actress Yetunde Barnabas has renewed her criticism of Ajefunke Kofoshi after the latter reportedly described her encounter with the police as an invitation rather than an arrest.
The controversy resurfaced when Kofoshi shared a video showing both actresses together and claimed that the police had invited her.
Barnabas disputed the claim, maintaining that Kofoshi had been arrested and had subsequently appealed for forgiveness.
The Nollywood actress had earlier disclosed that the disagreement had been taken up legally. She said Kofoshi was asked to remove social media posts allegedly damaging to her reputation and work and issue a public apology through a video.

Barnabas later stated that the two had “finally faced off legally” and that she was willing to let the matter go in the interest of peace, subject to certain conditions.
Reacting to Kofoshi’s version of events, Barnabas accused her colleague of giving the public a misleading impression.
“You were picked up and arrested; you begged and admitted your wrongdoing and begged me, so I let it go for the sake of peace because there’s nothing in this life,” she wrote.
Barnabas also alleged that Kofoshi had asked her to record a video about the matter. She said she accepted after warning Kofoshi against insulting other people.
“Do not mislead the public,” Barnabas added.
The exchange has kept the disagreement in the public eye, with both actresses’ accounts drawing attention to the unresolved questions surrounding their confrontation.
The circumstances of the alleged arrest have not been independently established in the information provided.
