Atiku Picks Up ADC Presidential Nomination Receipt

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has formally collected his payment receipt for the purchase of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The ADC revealed this on its official 𝕏 handle on Saturday.

The party said the presidential nomination form was paid for on May 8, 2026.

Atiku, a chieftain of the ADC, is among the aspirants vying for the party’s presidential ticket for the 2027 election.

New Chapter in Nigeria’s Democratic Journey:

H.E. Atiku Abubakar, GCON, has officially collected his payment receipt to contest for the 2027 Presidential Election on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

“This development is another significant milestone in the growing movement for national renewal, democratic inclusion and people-driven leadership within the ADC.

“As Nigerians continue to look for credible alternatives, the ADC remains committed to offering a strong platform on the basis of unity, competence, economic recovery, security and national progress.

Nomination forms are expected to be formally presented on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat, Abuja.

“The movement is spreading. Hope is on the rise. More to come.”

It was understands that the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, have also picked the party’s form.
