Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been taken a swipe on by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike over his recent defection.
Wike, who spoke during a media parley on Wednesday, said Obi is searching for a ‘food is ready’ political party.
The minister said, “Obi was in APGA, he could not build APGA. He fled Labour, he fled Labour again. All he wants is a food ready political party.”
It was recalled that Obi and Rabi’u Kwankwaso, former presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, officially joined the NDC ahead of the 2027 general elections on Sunday.
