Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile’s partner, Davita Lamai, has revealed that the musician was unusually shy when he first wanted to establish contact with her.
Davita disclosed this in the couple’s wedding film ahead of their wedding celebration scheduled for October 24, 2026.
She explained that Zlatan did not approach her directly to ask for her phone number but instead requested assistance from another person.
According to her, the rapper’s shyness was unexpected and could surprise people familiar with his energetic public persona.
“He was just to get my number. He asked somebody, like he’s very shy, like very, very. People will not believe it,” Davita said.

Davita and Zlatan have maintained their relationship for several years and share two sons.
