Hilda Baci’s Record-Breaking Feat Earns Praise From Governor Eno

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has hailed Nigerian chef and Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, for turning determination and boldness into a platform for projecting the state and inspiring possibilities beyond its borders.

Governor Eno gave the commendation when he received Baci, an indigene of Akwa Ibom, at Government House, Uyo.

The Governor said Baci’s success demonstrated how courage and determination could help individuals break barriers and achieve remarkable feats.

He also commended her for making Akwa Ibom proud through her culinary exploits and urged her to continue to fly the state’s flag high.

Baci praised the pace of infrastructural development, peaceful atmosphere and investment opportunities in the state under the Eno ARISE administration.

Speaking with the Government House Press Corps after the meeting, she described Akwa Ibom as “amazingly beautiful”, commending the Governor’s vision and leadership.

She expressed particular delight at the Victor Attah International Airport, describing its facilities as first-rate and impressive.

The chef also praised the hospitality and industrious nature of Akwa Ibom people, expressing willingness to partner with relevant stakeholders to support the state’s development.

Baci urged tourists and investors to explore the state’s environmental, recreational, hospitality and other investment opportunities, saying these could help businesses maximise their potential.

While presenting her Guinness World Record Certificate to the Governor, She also called on Akwa Ibom people to sustain love, unity and peace, stressing the importance of a peaceful environment in attracting sustainable development.

Those present at the meeting included the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Lady Helen Eno Obareki; Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Udeme Otong; Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah; and Executive Assistant/Chief Delivery Advisor, Mr. Aniefiok Johnson.

Others were Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Otobong Bob; Commissioner for Information, Dr. Aniekan Umanah; Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Anieti Udofia; Chairman, State Hotels and Tourism Board, Mrs. Ime Udo; Delivery Advisor on Tourism, Sir Charles Udoh; and other government officials.
