Nollywood actress, Eyiyemi Afolayan, has revealed her reservations on building with any man from the scratch, saying she’s scared that men are known to change when they become financially successful.
Eyiyemi, daughter of ace filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, has reportedly told BBC Yoruba in an interview that wealth can make men disrespectful or unfaithful.
The fast-rising actress also revealed that she was born into a wealthy family and expects any of her intended suitors to be financially established.
“I can’t build with a man. Why can’t I build with a man? You know men, they are ingrates. If I marry a man that doesn’t have money and see money, if I marry him, he will stay with me, not because he loves me but because he doesn’t have the money to be going around to be promiscuous.
I was born to money. Any man who wants to marry me has got to be doing something for himself. I can’t be feeding him, but I can support him.”
The Anikulapo movie star also rejected the idea of polygamy as she said she would never agree to be a second or third wife.
“I can’t be a second or third wife to any man,” she continued. I’m not jealous, or anything. “Polygamous home has many troubles.
