Former BBNaija housemate Cross has spoken about his alleged experiences with men who approached him with offers of money in exchange for sex.
The reality star claimed that he had previously been offered N500 million and $200,000 but rejected the proposals.
Cross made the statement while defending fellow reality TV personality Whitemoney, who recently became the subject of an online discussion after revealing an unsolicited message from a man.
According to reports, the man sent Whitemoney a direct message referring to him as “papi” and expressing an interest in him.
Reacting to the incident, Cross argued that people should not assume that a man is attracted to men simply because he displays feminine characteristics.
He said a person’s mannerisms, appearance or general personality should not be treated as conclusive evidence of their sexual orientation.
Cross subsequently disclosed that he had personally encountered men who allegedly made substantial financial offers to him.

He claimed that one offer amounted to N500 million, while another was worth $200,000.
Despite the alleged value of the offers, Cross said he declined them, insisting that he could not be persuaded by money or material possessions.
The reality star credited his mother for teaching him values that have influenced his decisions from childhood.
Cross also criticised people who allegedly send unsolicited and inappropriate messages through social media.
He argued that individuals should understand that not everyone will welcome such advances and should therefore be mindful of how they communicate with others.
The former BBNaija housemate further said that people should not be quick to judge another person’s sexuality based on outward characteristics.
His intervention came as reactions continued to trail Whitemoney’s decision to share details of the message publicly.
The development has generated conversations about social media boundaries, unsolicited advances and the assumptions people make about individuals based on their appearance and mannerisms.
