Igbokwe: ‘Some People Think I Am Rich Because I Belong To APC’ –

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that his fortune is not derived from his affiliation with the governing party.

In a Facebook post, Igbokwe claimed that prior to his breakthrough, he had worked in a number of low-paying jobs and ventures.

“Some people will think in their wildest dreams that I am rich because I belong to APC Nigeria,” he declared.

“You will be choked to death by my story.” When I was in elementary school in the 1970s, I began to feed my mother. I went to buy firewood. I collected water to sell.

According to the APC chieftain, he started out as a bus conductor in Lagos before branching out into other industries.

For people, I planted yams. I worked in Lagos as a bus conductor. As a graduate, I opened a restaurant. In addition to selling auto parts and automobiles on Western Avenue in Lagos, I also purchase and sell real estate, write five books, and more. I am a contented man today. He continued, “One thing led to another.

In other news, Sunday Dare, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Media and Public Communications, has defended First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s recent statement encouraging Nigerians to investigate low-capital small-scale enterprises like akara, roasted corn, and kuli-kuli.

In a video that went viral online, the First Lady reportedly described how the administration supports small businesses with grants rather than loans.

Her remark, however, infuriated a lot of internet users, who claimed it was offensive and ignored the financial difficulties that many Nigerians face.

In light of this event, Dare disclosed that his mother trained him by selling oranges and bananas in Jos, Plateau State, in a conversation with Seun Okinbaloye on the Mic On podcast.
