Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala has trolled Arise Television anchor, Rufai Oseni for purportedly functioning as an unofficial spokesperson for Peter Obi.

Obi is said to be the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress for the 2027 election.

In a post on 𝕏 on Monday, Bwala alleged that Oseni’s recent grilling of Obi on policy issues was a ploy to cover his support for the former Anambra State governor.

Obi had promised, if elected President in 2027, to increase Nigeria’s electricity generation and distribution capacity to at least 10,000 megawatts within four years.

Saturday after emerging as the NDC presidential candidate at the party’s national convention in Abuja, he made the promise.

Oseni had engaged Obi during a media interview on the electricity plan.

Bwala dared the broadcaster to take leave or sabbatical from Arise Television to join Obi’s campaign and declare his political inclination.

“That anchor thinks he is deceiving us by challenging @PeterObi on his plans to generate power as if he is not the unofficial spokesman of Peter Obi,” Bwala wrote.

Be bold and courageous and be a man by taking a leave of absence and or sabbatical from Arise News and join Peter Obi’s campaign and test his capacity.
