The Nigerian Air Force says that people who pass its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test will move on to the next step in the hiring process.

Those who passed have been asked to come to the Selection Board Interview to get into Basic Military Training Course 46/2025.

Ehimen Ejodame, the Director of Public Relations and Information, made this update public on Wednesday. He said that the names of the candidates who made the cut are now on the Air Force’s official recruitment website.

The Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna will host the interview exercise. It will take place from April 27 to June 13, 2026, giving candidates a few weeks to attend based on their assigned batches.

People who made the shortlist are expected to show up on the dates they were given. The Air Force said that anyone who doesn’t show up on the assigned day will lose the chance to keep going with the recruitment process.

The agency also made it clear that there is no cost to take part in the whole hiring process. Candidates were told not to give anyone money at any point because the process is free.

This step comes after the aptitude test in December 2025, which had more than 20,000 applicants from all over the country. The test was given in 15 places, such as Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja.

The Air Force said that the many locations were chosen so that applicants from all over the country could have equal access. It also said that fairness and strict standards guide the hiring process, and that the aptitude test is an important part of choosing candidates based on their skills.
