Big Brother Naija personality Cross Okonkwo has expressed frustration after allegedly losing an item to a street beggar in Lagos.
Cross narrated his experience in a video shared with his followers, saying the incident happened around Ikate, Lekki.
According to the reality star, he was approached by several beggars while sitting inside his car. He said he allowed them to speak with him, but one of the men allegedly reached through the vehicle and removed an item before making a quick escape.
Cross said he immediately went after the alleged thief but could not catch up with him.
Recounting the incident, he appealed to the government to pay greater attention to the issue of street begging and security in Lagos.

“Federal government, I just got robbed,” Cross said.
He further questioned why beggars were allowed to remain on the streets, arguing that their presence could create security concerns for motorists and residents.
The BBNaija star also expressed his frustration about the wider security situation in Nigeria, declaring that the country was not safe.
His account, however, represents his allegation of what happened, and no independent confirmation of the alleged theft was provided in his post.
