A Thai cosmetic hospital has told Thai investigators that Nigerian content creator Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo chose to have a penis enlargement procedure done in one session, despite being told by a doctor to do the treatment in two sessions.
An inquest at Westminster Coroner’s Court previously obtained by PEOPLE revealed that Nigerian influencer Ubiribo, who lived in London, died on March 6, less than 24 hours after getting hyaluronic acid injections at the Bangkok clinic.
Post-mortem and toxicology results were said to have linked his death to the hyaluronic acid injection and a pulmonary embolism at an inquest on August 21. Several hours after the procedure on March 5, Ubiribo suffered chest pains and collapsed.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital for a CT scan, but lost consciousness before the test could be done. According to reports, medical personnel attempted CPR for 101 minutes before he was declared dead at 1.05am on March 6.
“On September 7, Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health announced that it has opened an investigation into the clinic. Health Minister Pattana Phromphat ordered the Department of Health Service Support and the Food and Drug Administration to investigate what happened and whether the clinic complied with required medical standards, the ministry said.

Phuwadet Surakot, director-general of the Department of Health Service Support, said the clinic told investigators that Ubiribo had been treated at the clinic since 2024 and had received five penile enlargement injections.
The clinic told Surakot that a doctor had advised Ubiribo before the March 5 procedure to split the treatment into two sessions, but he had asked that the injections be given in one session. The clinic also said he signed a consent form before each treatment and was given aftercare instructions.
The authorities will now review the clinic’s records and other evidence before deciding whether to refer the case to the Medical Council. “We will collect all the facts and evidence to act within our authority and refer the case to the Medical Council for a verdict on the professional standard of practice, to be fair to all parties,” the Ministry of Public Health said.
