The country’s political stability and institutional harmony are prerequisites for sustaining the country’s security, the Minister of Defense, General Christopher Musa (Rtd) has said.

This was disclosed by General Musa in a congratulatory message issued by the Ministry on the occasion of the 58th birthday of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda.

Musa recognized Yilwatda’s role in leading the APC, pointing out that stable political institutions and responsible political engagement could contribute to national cohesion and strengthen the broader security architecture of the country.

The Minister therefore took the opportunity to emphasize the link between effective political leadership, institutional stability and sustainable national security.

He congratulated Yilwatda on turning 58 and wished him continued wisdom, courage, good health and strength in his service to the party and the country.
