Popular Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has revealed that she lost a pregnancy when she was four months pregnant, recounting how Pastor Bolaji Idowu supported her during the difficult experience.
Abraham made the revelation at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos while discussing some of the challenges she has faced in her personal life.
The actress said she was still filming a movie when she suffered the pregnancy loss. She described the experience as emotionally difficult, particularly because she had to continue working.
“I was four month pregnant, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down,” she said.
Abraham disclosed that she was initially unable to contact her parents because she was concerned about how her mother would take the news.
“I didn’t want to call my parents; you know how it is that you don’t want to… my parents, my mom is old, and I didn’t want to call my mom,” she explained.

She said she informed her husband, actor Kola Ajeyemi, but he was away at the time. She then contacted Pastor Bolaji for assistance.
“I just told my husband, but that day he was far away, and guess who I called?” Abraham said.
According to the actress, Pastor Bolaji responded by praying for her and asking where she was.
“I just called Pastor Bolaji. He just started praying for me, and he said, ‘Where are you?’ I said, ‘I’m on my way to the hospital,’” she recalled.
When the pastor asked what was going to happen at the hospital, Abraham told him that doctors intended to carry out an evacuation.
“He said, ‘What’s going to happen?’ I said, ‘They want to do an evacuation,’” she said.
Abraham added that Pastor Bolaji also provided financial support to help her handle the medical expenses.
“And Pastor Bolaji sent me millions,” she disclosed.
The actress subsequently thanked the pastor for standing by her during the difficult period.
“Thank you so much, Pastor Bolaji. God bless you,” she said.
Abraham has previously spoken about experiencing pregnancy loss. In 2022, she told Channels Television that she had lost a pregnancy and became emotional because she wanted to have additional children.
“Yes I want to have more kids. I was actually pregnant but I lost it. It’s fine though. But when it happened I cried, I cried a lot because I just want to have one or two more kids and I’m done, but things happen,” she said at the time.
The actress has a son and a stepdaughter with Kola Ajeyemi and has previously expressed her desire to have more children.
Her latest disclosure sheds light on another personal challenge she experienced while managing family life alongside a demanding career in Nollywood.
