Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has disclosed why she lost interest in attending church service.
The actress, who shared this in a Snapchat video on Sunday, said she stopped going to church because she often became the focus of attention instead of the service.
The actress said she is always the one they take pictures of, but she now joins church service online.
Akindele said “Whenever I go to church, I am always the one they snap. “I’m on then.”
It was recalled that Akindele, in 2022, had publicly identified herself with the Celestial Church of Christ.
“When I face problems, I go to the Celestial church at night and seek solutions quietly. But I have to stop hiding and publicly identify with the church,” she said.
