Blessing Okoro, the controversial relationship expert popularly known as Blessing CEO, has denied allegations of drug use following her release from detention over fraud-related cases instituted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The social media personality made the clarification during a live session with Nollywood actress and politician Doris Ogala.
According to the influencer, allegations circulating online about her alleged drug use were being made by people who had no personal knowledge of her lifestyle.
She said she neither uses drugs nor smokes or drinks alcohol, adding that she does not engage in partying.
“I don’t do drugs. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, and I don’t even party. Most times the internet just has a way of enjoying themselves. A lot of people don’t even know me personally,” Blessing CEO said.
The denial follows widespread social media commentary during her time in detention. Some users had accused her of using drugs, while others warned people against sending her money over concerns about how the funds might allegedly be spent.
Other commentators suggested that she needed rehabilitation instead of financial assistance.
Her latest remarks come against the backdrop of three separate fraud-related cases filed by the EFCC.

Blessing CEO was arraigned in June 2026 over allegations involving property transactions and donations reportedly collected after she claimed to be battling stage four breast cancer.
The alleged sums involved in the three cases are ₦36 million, ₦69.15 million and ₦13 million.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The legal proceedings and the drug-use allegations are separate issues. While Blessing CEO has publicly rejected claims about her lifestyle, the fraud-related allegations remain subject to the outcome of the court process.
Her appearance alongside Doris Ogala has renewed public attention on the influencer following her release from detention.
