APC disqualifies over 20 state assembly aspirants in Benue ahead of primaries

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue State Chapter, has released the report of its State Assembly Screening Committee which has disqualified over 20 aspirants from participating in the party’s primaries for the 2027 Benue State House of Assembly elections.

The committee said the disqualifications were for failing to comply with the party’s guidelines and constitution.

The APC implored all affected aspirants to embrace the outcome of the screening process and also called on party members to close ranks as preparation for the 2027 general elections intensifies.

The report, released by the Committee Chairman, Dr. Auwalu Ishiye, and Secretary, Barr. Tijani Abdullahi, listed the affected aspirants who were screened out of the exercise.
