Prince Kennedy Ahanotu, the former National Youth Leader of the Labour Party, has lambasted the party’s former presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, for not building lasting political structures and abandoning those who support him.

Ahanotu, while speaking on TVC News, said Obi’s political history is one of hopping from one platform to another without strengthening the existing structures.

“Peter Obi is not a builder of men; he leaves his own people behind,” he said, adding that true leadership was about building institutions and empowering followers, not just relying on personal popularity.

Ahanotu also questioned Obi’s loyalty to political parties, referring to his movement across various platforms over the years.

The former Labour Party leader said the mark of strong political leadership was the ability to build loyal structures that could outlast an individual’s influence.
