Radiogad Links Davido’s Unfollow to His Criticism of Governor Adeleke

Content creator Radiogad has declared that he will continue speaking about Nigeria’s challenges after alleging that singer Davido privately asked him to remove videos criticising the musician’s uncle.

Radiogad shared his account in a video that has drawn attention to the relationship between celebrity influence and public commentary on social media.

According to him, the controversy began after he posted two videos expressing frustration with the situation in Nigeria and criticising Davido’s uncle.

He alleged that Davido subsequently reached out through direct messages and requested that the videos be taken down.

Radiogad said he did not respond to the purported message, explaining that his criticism was motivated by concerns about the country rather than political affiliation or a personal dispute.

“Davido quickly entered my DM. He wanted me to bring down that video, but I did not reply him. I always stand for the truth,” he said.

The content creator also claimed to have screen-recorded the alleged communication to preserve evidence of the exchange.

He explained that he wanted to avoid a situation in which people would dismiss the message as fake or suggest that it had been generated using artificial intelligence.

Radiogad further alleged that Davido unfollowed him on social media after he failed to respond to the singer’s purported request.

However, he maintained that the alleged unfollow would not influence his decisions or prevent him from addressing matters of public interest.

The content creator argued that his commitment to discussing Nigeria’s problems was more important than maintaining social media connections with prominent personalities.

“Whether you are following me or you are not following me, I will keep standing for the truth,” he said.

Radiogad also used the opportunity to question the country’s conditions, pointing to his relocation to the United Kingdom.

“If Nigeria good, wetin I dey do for UK? If Nigeria dey work, wetin I go do here?” he asked.

He concluded by maintaining that public figures should not be exempt from criticism and that his platform would continue to accommodate discussions about their actions and the state of the nation.

The reported exchange, however, remains unverified independently, and the allegation is based on Radiogad’s public account.
