As part of his administration’s main goal of promoting unity and support among people, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has told all political appointees to put the needs of people at the grassroots first.

Zainab S. Rabo, SSA Media Affairs to the Governor, signed a press release that said this.

She said that the governor said this at a meeting of stakeholders on Sunday at the Banquet Hall in Government House, Dutse.

The governor stressed that governance should be focused on people and urged those who were appointed to be kind, responsive, and dedicated to making life better for citizens at all levels.

He said again that the main goal of his administration is to help each other, and he told all officials to get closer to the people and meet their needs.

Governor Namadi also said that real leadership is shown through service, compassion, and a commitment to the health and happiness of the people.

The governor’s comments come at a time when more and more people are complaining about some politicians who don’t help people with what they are getting and don’t support them.

He said that some of these people who were appointed said they had nothing to offer, even though they were getting something.
“Anyone who thinks they don’t earn anything to help the public should quit,” said Gov. Namadi.
